Day 0 (cancellation or non-payment): subscription enters a 30-day grace period — all users and admin retain full access. Day 30: subscription is suspended — admin can still sign in to download data via PowerShell; end users cannot sign in. Day 90: subscription is deprovisioned — Microsoft permanently deletes Exchange mailboxes, OneDrive files, SharePoint sites, Teams chats, calendars, and user accounts. Data deleted at this stage is not recoverable.
